Waltz With Bashir premiered at Cannes in 2008, won The Golden Globe and was nominated for The Academy Awards the same year.

Roiy Nitzan was the Visual Effects Supervisor for the film.

The VFX work on the film started in late 2006 and over the course of a little more than a year Roiy has composited and did the visual effects for every shot in the film almost single handedly.
